Huguenot Posted December 11, 2012 Share Posted December 11, 2012 Probably as many as there were 'British' - i.e. none.There were plenty of Angles from Northern Germany and Saxons from Central Germany, who famously lost out in central governance to the Normans from Scandinavia via France after they trounced the Danish King of the middle marches somewhere near Hastings.
