We went to order from the website and there was a message saying you were "closed today", and also the website says that your delivery hours are the same as the restaurant opening hours?

Very disappointed as we were looking forward to trying your food.

Are you not open for deliveries on a Saturday night???

We got a delivery from there tonight. Food was very good.

That said, when first ordered online at about 6pm, the order got rejected by their on-line system. I then phoned them and they basically said that they were so busy and wouldn't be able to deliver until around 8:30pm, which is why the online orders were being rejected becuase of the unusually long wait. The young woman who answered the phone was very apologetic, and said they were trying to individual phone everyone back who had an online order rejected, and explain the situation. In anycase, after we said to her that 8:30pm was fine for a delivery time, the food showed up bang on time, and was delicious. I'm going to guess that by the time it got to after 7pm (when you might have ordered sue?) they closed the restaurant to online orders as they weren't going to be getting to people until quite late.

Thanks TheCat, that's annoying!

We did have a very good Indian meal from elsewhere, and had a long wait for that as well. We would have happily waited! I can't remember what time we went onto their website, but somewhere between 6 and 7pm.

I don't know why they would have a message saying they were "closed today", that's quite misleading I think, it would have been better to explain the situation?

Not to worry, we will try again next weekend!

Dear Sue

I?m so sorry about the inconvenience you faced on Saturday night, please do mention this next time you attempt to place an order, I?m sure one of our friendly members of staff can provide a little extra especially to accommodate for your mishap. Rest assured, we have investigated the problem as you were not the only one to encounter this problem.

Kind regards, Hertiage team.

Hi thecat,

Thank you for your positive feedback, we are thrilled to gain your seal of approval on the food. Please spread the word and we look forward to seeing you in house once the restaurant restrictions are (finally) lifted once and for all.

Kind regards, Heritage team.

Hi Sheff,

Thank you for your positive feedback. Indeed, the lamb chops is very highly thought of by our own staff, so it?s little surprise you enjoyed them! Thank you for using us and do spread the word.

Kind regards, Heritage team.

Yum yum.. just finished a takeaway from here this evening and without a doubt the tastiest meal I?ve had this year, other than my own creations of course.. Restaurant quality in terms of taste and freshness; not the cheapest meal but worth it.
Yum 😋 delicious... I don?t mind the price as it?s Dishoom quality...maybe better, loved the Dal Makhani and the Tarka Dal, I make both at home, but sooooooooo good to have someone else cook for me. Great spicing. 😋😋😋🌶

Hi Heartblock,

Thank you for your positive feedback - we?ve had an overwhelmingly fantastic response since we opened and we are so thrilled that we?re keeping our guests satisfied in a difficult time we are facing. Can I request if you could kindly transfer this feedback to our google page, it would help us immensely and we would be ever so grateful.

Warm regards, Heritage team.

    • Disagree. Where are the police when you need them? People want a police presence, they want to feel reassured by seeing them do what the word suggests, policing, so go catch some bad guys, arrest, charge and get the CPS to prosecute with the evidence to enable this to happen. Stabbing and shootings are so common place they no longer even get reported in the public domain. How many crimes don't get solved? Rather case closed and forgotten. The number of low to high level crimes which remain unsolved is staggering.  The criminal fraternity know this, they know they won't get caught so they just carry on.  Biggest crimes which affect most people, probably are phone and car theft, both are prolific and what do the police do, diddly squat. zilch, nothing, provide a crime reference number and the case is closed. Not good enough, not by a country mile.   Met Engage? I don't think so.

Recent data suggests a drop in violent crime. Gang violence will make a significant contribution to the numbers. You are unlikely to be attacked by a stranger
    • Unfortunately there are plenty of shops which don't care and will sell vapes, alcohol and weed to minors, I'm sure they won't care about selling them fireworks. Or the kids nick them.
    • It’s getting a bit annoying. We’ve a nervous dog who trembles when they go off. I know to expect it around Halloween and Diwali but it seems to be happening more through the year.
