DadOf4
on the corner of Thorncombe and Trossachs is, what appears to be, a small community centre - a room, with doors onto an outside spaceIts part of the "Dutch" estateIn 15 years or living here, I have NEVER seen it used. That seems such a shame - i know how hard it is to find places to have children's birthday parties, community meetings or to do a yoga groupDoes anybody know who has control of this ? - is it available for rent/use.I have no specific need - just seems such a shame that its not being utilised Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/272813-community-building-on-thorncombe-road/ Share on other sites
Pugwash
At one stage there was an active Residents' Association in that area so they may have used those premises. Sadly with the current situation, nobody can hold community meetings, birthday parties or exercise classes. However it does not stop people trying to contact all available 'spaces' trying to persuade these providers that it would only be 6 people/all the same family/etc.!
