Pugwash
We used Spin Doctor earlier in the year and he put the fault right after a few minutes. Reasonable cost. jazzer
Have had this happen to me, it is likely to be the heater that is tripping the fuse box as it is turned on after about 8mins, I suspect by a relay to heat the water. The heater becomes corroded over time through the gunk in hard water and conducts to earth, tripping the fuse box. On my machine the heater required replacement, once done it worked fine. Generally the engineer needs to remove the top and front of the machine to access the heater that in my case was under the drum. About an hours work for an engineer. Good luck. As it is insured should not cost you anything. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/272953-washing-machine-help/#findComment-1477104 Share on other sites
Jellybeanz
Spin doctor repaired our machine that had this issue a few weeks ago. ?95 including part and labour, tho if it's the motor apparently that isn't worth changing as very expensive. Hope you get it fixed! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/272953-washing-machine-help/#findComment-1477148 Share on other sites
