Hi everyone,


I was recently diagnosed with cancer and so we are a bit too late getting a Christmas tree. We usually get one from the garden centre near North Dulwich station however they are now closed.


We have a 6 year old daughter who is really going to have difficulty understanding cHristmas without a Christmas tree.


Does anyone know of a place in the Dulwich area who still has some?

You could try the place next to the cricket club on the South Circular? just past the entrance to the woods, opposite the derelict pub on the corner.


No idea if they have any left though.


Very sorry about your diagnosis.


ETA: The entrance to it is the same as for the cricket club, and there is plenty of parking.

Thank you all so much for you suggestions and well wishes.


I am totally welled up.


I gave all your suggestions to my husband who ended up finding one last very large tree, left on its own near the cricket grounds, the stables and across from the derelict pub.


Bless your hearts, all of you.

      Planning application - new Underhill Rd residential development

      Initially, when all the discussion took place at Bradbury some of existing building was to be demolished which meant that 3 flats would go but these residents would have to wait until new building erected to be housed. No indication has been given as to where people would be placed during building. I am glad that the tree is to remain - Bradbury residents contacted various environmental groups to lobby for tree to remain. I gather that there is likely to be a question of restricted views to be made by Wood Vale residents as 5 stories is significantly higher than current building.
