The online application lets you upload the photo then tells you if it's OK or not before you submit. (Once again showing up that post office check and send business as a right old scam!) It is ?6 for 4 but you also get a code which when you do your passport application online you just pop in when asked and automagically your approved photo is there. Went a couple of weeks ago so defo open in lockdown. Tried taking photos at home with phone but couldn?t get any without shadow etc. The booth shows you what the photo will look like before you accept them so you can make sure they meet all the criteri.
