Alan Medic
Does anyone know if you can use white spirit? Usually but rarely use Meth spirits but don't have any. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/27555-fondue-fuel/ Share on other sites

Alan Medic
Thanks quids. Is there any self-boiling cheese out there? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/27555-fondue-fuel/#findComment-603663 Share on other sites
Gidget
Just stick a whole brie in the oven and use that to dip your bits in. Other cheeses can be used. Google baked brie or camembert. Alan Medic
Gidget, you know that brie is not part of a fondue recipe. The other cheeses have already been purchased. I really want to know if white spirit ignited will blow up CP Road? SebsC
Advice from my dad (font-ue of all knowledge), no, unless he wants a bonfire to dip his bread in! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/27555-fondue-fuel/#findComment-603697 Share on other sites

I remember my mum serving a booze infused fondue once and I gagged at the smell. I usually prefer my wine in a glass. Jeremy
There's nothing wrong with fondue, Gidget. Hope you sorted it out, Alan... I guess the worst case scenario is heating it up on the hob and reheating every few minutes. maxxi
Did you play the fondue game doc? Y'know, lose your bread/potato/crudit? into the fondue whilst dipping and you have to down a schnapps?
