hi ya, im looking for someone to come and give me a quote on decorating my mums hall and staircase,we have had a few quotes but they want silly money, she is 77 years old and not to well, so i want someone that can just get on with the job, not mess her around but do a good job, please if anyone knows anyone good please let me know

Try www.checkatrade.com. Have used them a number of times and you can't go wrong. Remember to get 3 or 4 quotes.

Have you tried Southwark Circle - if the hallway is small they may have volunteers willing to do this and she just pay for the material.

I found Southwark Circle to be slow and not terribly well organised, lots of mis communications going on..
