I want to recommend a fantastic window cleaner

I'd tried 3 different window cleaners (each once only!) which were recommended on here and I wasn't happy with any of them.

Today I used Harry Gosling and I am absolutely delighted with the job he has made of our windows/doors. He cleaned them thoroughly the "old fashioned" way with his ladder, bucket and that squeezy-blade-thing which traditional window cleaners use. Result: truly sparkling windows. He washed the window cills and frames too. What a difference! All at a fraction of the price of the others.

He is such a nice chappie too.

@ Jason,

It was actually via one of your posts that I saw Harry's name. So thank you for that. I wasn't sure whether or not to plump for him as I'd had poor experiences with recommended window cleaners on here. Anyway, I took a punt and am so pleased I did. I will definitely keep using him and recommending him. Top notch guy and really very reasonably priced especially given the high standard of his work.

Hello, I had Harry come over to budget my windows and made an appointment and he never showed up. I left messages and never heard back. Has anyone been in touch with him recently? Did he lose his phone? Thank you! Would love to use him based on the recommendations here.

    • I can't answer your question. But on them generally: it's changed hands in the last year or so, I think. I paid £35 for interior and exterior and they did a crap job. I'll go to the one on Herne Hill (or just do it myself if health allows) next time.
    • Aria came round to fix my tub drain when I'd messed up the seal. Came within hours, fixed the tub, and ran a bath to make sure it was okay. Here's where the fun starts. While he was over, I asked him questions about the rest of the plumbing round the house. I had just moved into a Victorian home that was previously being rented. Unsurprisingly, we found another leak in the tub and a drip in the kitchen tap.  He came back the next day to put a better pipe in my bathtub and replace the kitchen sink. Painstakingly figured out how to replace the hard-to-access kitchen sink without cutting through the wood panel with the help of his builder friend, Mark. Answered all my questions and clearly knew his stuff. All this right before Christmas holidays!
    • Was that the one where you put a coin in and it squirted water at you? what was the name of the one in hanway street - whatever you ordered it came on a segmented tray like you get in prison (I imagine). Prices were a steal.
