Maths Tutor wanted: Stats (A Level/Undergrad)

I don't know how usual a call this is, but...

I want to get more out of some data analysis work I'm doing. Maths A Level a long time ago. My work's training is too far ahead and I need to get going on it now. Also - there's a specific problem I need to solve for a deadline coming up, so don't have time to go through hours of online training just to be able to identify what it is I need to do.

I'm looking for someone who's v good on statistics. I don't want them to do the work for me, just to meet with me and discuss in the first instance how they might help equip me with the tools I need.

I'm envisaging maybe 1-2 hours, maybe more. It's not a hard question (I think I'm after the best model to assess correlation on this particular data set, and doing some statistical significance) but I do want to meet in the first instance (maybe 10 mins on zoom or something) to check that you can help me solve the problem I need to solve, and set me on the right path to it.

I want this to be a quick fix, but I want to learn by doing this and ultimately understand better the training paths I need to take.

    • In answer to your question Pugwash, the variety of foods that they offer both in canned goods and fresh. i personally no longer am a Sainsbury customer after years - feel that the quality of both their fruit, veg and fresh products ie meat, chicken, fish is not of a quality that they use to be. Agree with Sue that Co- Op does not make for a pleasant shopping experience.  On the subject of Waitrose not coming to ED - one can only assume that market research has been done by the company which makes it a non starter which, when you think about it is strange as all the big contenders are here.. Perhaps the powers to be have never heard of ED!! Maybe a Lidl or Aldi will rear their heads but somehow can’t see it as space is way to small. Really is strange that Waitrose is a non arrival - never ceases to amaze me how many eateries are in Lordship Lane alone and the majority all survive.
    • What is it that makes Waitrose so special! Admittedly I have shopped a couple of times in the Orpington and Beckenham one - sometimes buying food which I cannot get else where. Their 'basic range' is not bad. Price for price and quality - M & S.
    • Sometimes a shed or other installation has to have written approval from the freeholder i.e. Southwark, Southwark has (or did have) a Leaseholder Association.   Could also come under Anti Social Behaviour Unit.
