what restaurant is suitable to take children to but also is classy? in ed or nearby

It's my birthday in a few weeks and Illd like to go to a restaurant with my family.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a classy restauntant in Ed or near by that also caters for children??

Hello, the classiest and most child friendly restaurant I know of is Joanna's in Crystal Palace. It's been consistently good for years now. Worth a look if you can't find anything in ED. book in advance though!

Mmm yes - a second for Joanna's, especially if you can get the special little room/booth. We had Mothers' day there last year with our 3 and 5 year olds - went perfectly...staff attentive, food delicious (and for the kids too), mummy (me) gloriously soused!

I thought Rocca the Italian in Dulwich Village was OK.....worth checking out - nice, buzzy, well priced, seemed to be plenty of kids in there!

I agree - Rocca is very family friendly. Perhaps not quite as classy as Joanna's?

Both Rocca and Joanna's are good but Joanna's pips it on quality of food and classiness.

another thumbs up for Rocca, it's lovely in there, the staff are all so nice and they are extremely child friendly
