Zak
Came back from ED station this pm to find that the planters and bollards have been removed from the Grove Vale end of Melbourne Grove - see photo. Anyone know what's going on here? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/279901-melbourne-grove-open-again/ Share on other sites

ed_pete
Ironic considering the road is hardly used for vehicles any more. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/279901-melbourne-grove-open-again/#findComment-1498345 Share on other sites
tedfudge
I'm sure when I drove past at 6 this morning the road was closed again... Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/279901-melbourne-grove-open-again/#findComment-1498370 Share on other sites
Earl Aelfheah
ed_pete Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> Ironic considering the road is hardly used for> vehicles any more. There are vehicles lining both sides of the streets almost it's entire length, in addition to those travelling up and down it freely. It's not been pedestrianised. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/279901-melbourne-grove-open-again/#findComment-1498382 Share on other sites

TJ
The whole point of the planters was that it was temporary, and funds for cameras not available.Go for it. Since I went past here yesterday, some evil-minded ratbag has been partially unscrewing the screws in the benches attached to the planters, no doubt with the intention of causing injury to passers-by (it would most likely make their day if an innocent small child got their hands ripped to shreds by it.)
