Grr mittens!

Are there any that stay on?!? And I'm not talking for babies, I'm talking about for a nearly 4 and nearly 2 yr old! Jojo ones seem erraticly sized and rubbish (alternately huge or tiny). Barts ones don't stay on. Sainsburys no good either. Off to the slopes soon too so need some that stay on!

Lidl in Peckham had padded snowboarding gloves for children last week. I'm not sure what sizes are left, as I have no idea when they got them in!

Decathalon at Surrey Quays have a great selection of ski mittens etc for children .

Also make sure you put them on before the coat... Could sew on knee high childrens socks with the toes cut off so they go up the arms...?

We got some skiing gloves for E from H&M so far so good. They only cost about ?3 too!

Kitted mine out in long socks over their hands under their coats today. very effective.

I had good luck today using our adult ski mittens (so huge) put on before coat, and then coat to hold them on. Not that much in the way of hand functionality but they stayed on 2 hours!
