Hello,


we are looking for a nice babysitter for our daughter who is nearly 3. We are expecting our second in May and still would like to do some nice things (cinema, dinner) before baby 2 arrives. We live in forest hill. Does anyone have a good reliable reference. We are a bilingual family German/English

I've just sent you a pm Iddi1981. I found a very nice baby sitter through the forum not too long ago and luckily hubby & I can now go out more which is great. My daughter is the same age as yours and I'm sure she'll love our baby sitter. She's mostly available at weekends.

We have a wonderful babysitter who was recommended by a friend 6 months ago. She is a 26 year old nanny based in ED. She's great with the kids, they love her. It's good to know that my children are in good hands while we're enjoying a night out with hubby. :) I would highly recommend her!

I'd like to recommend myself please! (If that's not too cheeky!!)

I'm an ED nanny, experienced with SEN and neurotypical children of all ages.

Happy to cook meals for the following day or cakes/biscuits etc as long as you provide the ingredients as long as children are sleeping!


I've been working with children for about 5 years in total- as a nanny, in schools and as a children's club ref for Neilson Active Holidays (Thomas Cook).

I know this isn't exactly what you where asking for but I am a local full time nanny with 3 years of childcare experience and have some spare time on weekends and also some weekday evenings. I am currently working for 3 families with 5 children between them aged 2-10. I drive and have my own car so getting to and from houses at late hours is not a problem. My names Natalia and I have 3 years sold care nanny experience and I am currently working for 3 families with children aged between 2-10. I drive and have my own car so getting to and from places at anti social hours is not a problem.

      I had this same query the other week - Mediquip no longer cover Southwark and I believe the company when bankrupt? Anyway, after some digging, I found the news on the adult social care page of Southwark Council website.  The new supplier of medical equipment that is issued to Southwark residents via an OT from the council or the NHS is Provide Equipment Hub.  I emailed them about returning two items and they did promptly respond and came and picked up the items the following week.  Email them at [email protected] Importantly, they will come and do urgent repairs of equipment like hospital beds.  I'm surprised that Southwark haven't made this change more widely known as it will impact many vulnerable residents.

      Hello East Dulwich families 👋 I wanted to introduce myself to the community. I’m a professional family & wedding photographer with 14+ years of experience, and I split my time between the US and London throughout the year. I’ll be based in London for the coming weeks and would love to photograph more local families here in East Dulwich. My approach is very relaxed and natural — no stiff posing, no pressure — just real connection, movement, and the beautiful everyday moments that tell your family’s story. I work especially well with kids and parents who feel “awkward” in front of the camera (which honestly is most of us!). Sessions can take place at home, in the park, on your favourite street, or anywhere that feels meaningful to you. The goal is to create images that feel like your life — not a photoshoot.
