Recommendation for Janusz J.T. Enterprises

We are very impressed with the manner in which Janusz and his assistant cleared the snow and carried out gritting work over a large area for the duration of three days of snow. Friendly, very efficient, helpful, as well as being most reasonable. Highly recommended - we shall certainly be using the services of J T Enterprises again in both this and its other areas of expertise.

Another recommendation for Janusz and his business parter who came at very short notice to help us move lots of furniture and boxes from one floor to the next in readiness for plastering work. They achieved in 2 hours what would have taken us half a day. Very punctual, hard working and even went the extra mile by helping us load our car ready for another trip to the dump, after they had finished their shift.

We just used Janusz and his fantastic team for our move from SE15 to SE23. He was great from the word go and worth every penny. Not only did they pack and move perfectly, they are courteous, funny, efficient and have bucket loads of initiative, mending broken drawers, explaining better ways of doing things and showing great experience and understanding of the moving process. Jan was very flexible with us given we had to pack late in the day before exchange (which didn't happen when it was supposed) and then moved us when we exchanged and completed simultaneously. It was an extremely stressful chain/move and I can honestly say their presence made the practical side of things much less stressful and actually made us calmer - even when rushing to clear out our place on time and waiting for the new place to be vacated (the previous owner left at 6pm!!).

In addition, the next day we used Jan and his colleague Anthony's handyman services in our wreck of a new house and again they were faultless - they fixed light fittings, installed child gates, sourced and hung temporary curtains and lots more. They are local gems and would recommend them to anyone. We are going to use them as much as we can in future! Also as a team they are extremely tolerant of toddlers/babies and very family friendly.

    • How long is a piece of string?  Depends whether you are building 'new towns' or brown field urban sites. I expect developers, planners and builders know far more than we do.  Where are you getting your information about infrastructure from ?  Your comment on new reservoirs seems more relevant to population expansion and/or climate change.
    • There was a previous thread about them about 6 months ago. Since then, they have been found guilty and fined for illegal street trading and collections in June in the City of London. https://news.cityoflondon.gov.uk/we-r-blighty-pleads-guilty-of-illegal-street-trading-and-collections-in-the-city/
    • The Government has set an ambitios target to build 1.5 million new homes bu the end of this 4 year term. Possibly unachievable due to various issues in the building industry but ambitious none the less.  What they seem to have failed to plan for, which was brought home by this year's drought, is adding more inferstructure including Reservoirs, power lines and sewerage treatment centres.  Ate they setting us up for more problems in the future?
    • If you know the layout of the Chequers estate, it is clearly unfeasible and logistically complex to project images onto the facade of the main building. Unless you are the military or something.
