I have been a patient at the dermatology department of Kings for many years, for many of them up to the present date under the care of consultant Dr Saqib Bashir. He also sees patients privately at the Guthrie Wing of Kings, the London Clinic and theSloane in Beckenham. According to one website, he prefers referrals, but does see patients without. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I know someone who expressed an interest some time ago. He is not on this forum. If someone will very kindly PM me I'll let you have his details or ask him to contact you if you can give me a phone no.

PPI - has anyone done it themselves? Or has recommendation?
annabel42 replied to Minitoots's topic in The Lounge
Revolver website, endorsed by Martin Lewis, sets out the procedure in detail and is also a vehicle for claiming. The whole process can be done through their website and is absolutely free. -
My post above was in reply to a post saying everyone should respect each other. Can't understand why that post has gone.

Completely agree. People should not be using this forum to attack people who they know cannot defend themselves on the forum.

Sue, were the tests conclusive and what is the diagnosis?
-
Have you been tested for visual vertigo? It is not commonly diagnosed as the symptoms are rather vague and it was recognised as a medical condition only in 1995. Your comment that it affected you when moving struck a cord. I am not qualified to explain the condition competently, but its basically an imbalance between ears eyes and brain causes excess strain on the eyes causing the dizziness. It is not Menieres or labyrinthitis. Much of my life has been spent consulting GPs, neurologists, psychiatrists, neurosurgeons, eye specialists and others with no success, until around 6 months ago I had two falls, resulting in my being referred to the Bromley Falls and Fracture Clinic, which, after extensive tests lasting around 2 hours, diagnosed me with the condition. It may be worth your while asking to be referred to a physiotherapist with specialist knowledge of this condition, if you haven't already, if only to rule it out.

The All Inn One Perry Vale behind Forest Hill Station has beautiful rooms. Good reviews on trip advisor. -
Completely agree with above. Ian has been doing my hair for many years. I wouldn't go to anyone else. Knows exactly how to deal with difficult hair with absolutely no fuss. Coming to my home too is a real bonus.

I can recommend Jan of JT Enterprises, which firm I used when moving from Forest Hill. Went way beyond the call of duty. Knowledgeable, quick, efficient, helpful and friendly.

Cost of installation of a new bathroom suite in small bathroom
annabel42 replied to MikylaJ's topic in Request a Tradesperson
I had a bath removed and replaced with a shower last year. It was not necessary to remove floor tiles or wall tiles, but additional wall tiles were needed. Grab rails and a chair were installed and the shower runs the length of where the bath used to be. Cost was around ?2000 for what is now an accessible disabled shower (with a manageable small step, not a wet room) -
There are also the Hibagon sushi and grill and On the Hoof bistro in Sydenham.

Selsdon Park golf course is very popular.

Lorenezo's nee Si Mangia to re-open
annabel42 replied to Mrs Y's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Was there on Saturday Excellent gamberoni and mussels. Chef is ex Trattoria Rafael in Sydenham, fairly recently rated No 1 on Trip Advisor. A problem with the booking was sorted courteously and with complimentary drinks by way of apology.
