Other than the fact that Hull doesn't really cluster with Leeds/ Bradford, a good exposition. The correct title for this thread should be 'E Dulwich in top 10 for insurance claims for burglary made in past three years, as reported to one price comparison web-site'.

Apparently this statistic is purely going off figures supplied by certain insurance companies - so said a PC at coffee morning earlier at the community centre - and he said the local police figures didn't tally at all (tho admitted burglary had been a problem particularly around Barry Rd and Peckham Rye).

Also skewed by the fact that ED is pretty nice area compared with some - so residents are far more likely to have household insurance (where it is a condition you have to report burglaries).

Stats he read out seemed low but I have no idea what to compare to - he said around 13 for December.

Good news is they just caught a serial offender around Barry Rd area, so are hoping that helps!
