CLASSICAL FLAUTIST LOOKING FOR PRACTISE SPACE

Recommended Posts

hello, I hope you are all keeping very well! I'm a professional classical flautist looking for a local space to practice solo acoustic flute. the flat I'm staying in doesn't allow it past 7, so ideally looking for something available for evenings as well, but also would love some options of possible daytime practice slots if my flatmate is working from home and needs some quiet. I am staying between Peckham Rye and Denmark Hill stations, so something closeby to there would be outstanding, but I can travel a little bit if necessary. will be much obliged with any leads of spaces in churches, studios, homes, or anything suitable really. many thanks! :)

    • You know what? Interesting how memories are triggered.. And what memories.. what I love about this forum, are several things.. support, advice,  buy and sell, free stuff.. Glad as well, that one each one  looks after each other..in their own way… Thank you so much, new admin person for wha you do, and taking up the helm, when, this forum was possibly going to close…
    • Funny you should say that, Sephiroth.   I somewhat oddly still remember passing though Gloucester at the tail end of a cycling holiday decades ago, and getting the feel just from the street activity, cycling through the centre, that I didn't even want to stop and look around.  Tewkesbury, otoh, just up the road, I'd had plenty of time for.   How 'justified' my Gloucester vibes then, who knows?  Chalk and cheese, of course.  Horses for courses. ...
    • Are you still looking? I have one, only used once £30 ONO... TurboTronic TT-BM100
    • This. Personally, I've always felt safe in London. Probably famous last words and I'll get mugged later.
