dishwasher not working

Hello, my dishwasher hasn't been working for a week or so. The lights come on but nothing happens when i switch it on and close the door. i've checked that the water is switched on and there doesn't seem to be any kinks in the pipes.

Can someone pop over and see if they can fix it for me?
