VACANCY FOR PART-TIME NURSERY/CHILDMINDING ASSISTANT

Recommended Posts

I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder who runs a Group Setting in SE22 and in addition to space for parking there is a bus stop conveniently located just 2 minutes walk away which is served by the 63 and 363 bus routes two and from Peckham Rye station (6 stops away). The property is also conveniently located for the P12 stop on Brenchley Gardens. Honor Oak Park station is 15 minutes walking distance Peckham Rye Park is 5 minutes walk away.

The entire property is given over to childminding and has the unique advantage of providing a home environment which has all the resources of a larger nursery including a range of play areas, nursery sized tables and chairs, separate cot room, 200ft garden and a 30 sqm purpose-built school room which has been equipped with toys, games and learning resources with all ages and abilities in mind.

A vacancy has arisen for two days per week (08.00-5.00 pm) but more days could be offered if required. The hourly rate will be determined by the experience and qualifications of the applicant but there is a paid lunchbreak and two week's paid holiday following successful completion of a three month probationary period.

Applicants must have previous experience of working within an early years setting or as a nanny and ideally have an enhanced DBS. An NVQ Level qualification would be desirable but not essential and support can be given to any candidate who wishes to study for Level 2 or 3.

My group setting is a small and friendly (9 children maximum) and you will be working alongside other nursery assistants.

Job would also suit a childminder or nanny looking to supplement current work arrangements with a regular income.

    • The programme was brilliant and makes me wary now of sea paddling as so many areas affected. My daughter was working at a bank when privatisation of utility companies were floated. Bank advised its staff that only x number of shares could be purchased by individuals as Government rules at that time. She reported that certain people were seeking double and triple shares. Bank told her to ignore the guidelines as those customers had thousands of pounds in the bank. She was so disgusted at the banks attitude she handed in her notice, She decided that the financial world was too corrupt. Two degrees later - she now works in the NHS as an OT in mental health unit.

    • Petition Urge Israeli Government to stop law allowing execution of Palestinian prisoners The UK Government must act urgently to urge the Israeli Government to stop the proposed law which would permit the execution of Palestinian Prisoners, past, present and future. More details We believe that such a law would constitute complete violation of the Geneva Convention and International Human Rights Law. UN experts have called for these proposals to be dropped. We call on the UK Government apply considerable and substantial political pressure and the leverage of its international obligations to prevent the Israeli Government from passing this law.
