  1. I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder who runs a Group Setting in SE22 and in addition to space for parking there is a bus stop conveniently located just 2 minutes walk away which is served by the 63 and 363 bus routes two and from Peckham Rye station (6 stops away). The property is also conveniently located for the P12 stop on Brenchley Gardens. Honor Oak Park station is 15 minutes walking distance Peckham Rye Park is 5 minutes walk away. The entire property is given over to childminding and has the unique advantage of providing a home environment which has all the resources of a larger nursery including a range of play areas, nursery sized tables and chairs, separate cot room, 200ft garden and a 30 sqm purpose-built school room which has been equipped with toys, games and learning resources with all ages and abilities in mind. A vacancy has arisen for a childminding assistant for four days per week - Mon-Thu, 09.00-5.00 pm. The hourly rate will be determined by the experience and qualifications of the applicant but there is a paid lunchbreak and two week's paid holiday following successful completion of a three month probationary period. Applicants must have previous experience of working within an early years setting or as a nanny and ideally have an enhanced DBS. An NVQ Level qualification would be desirable but not essential and support can be given to any applicant who wishes to study for an NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualification. My group setting is a small and friendly (9 children maximum) and you will be working alongside other nursery assistants and there won't be any paperwork as I cover that aspect of the operation as Manager.
  2. If you need a handyman then I can thoroughly recommend: Look_as Service 07593095724 Prompt, reliable, polite, excellent craftsmanship and cleans up after himself.
  3. I live in the SE22 area and need some to come round to fix the hinge on the bottom of an internal door. It probably needs longer screws as it keeps on coming lose. Quick job for cash.
  4. The nursery is based in the SE22 area and is close to Peckham Rye Park. There is off-street parking and transport links are easily accessible. Our dedicated team can offer you childcare in a positive, caring and relaxed environment where learning is a joy and a discovery rather than a tick list of requirements. We encourage development through play, stories, games and music in a property which is entirely given over to childminding and which includes a separate cot room, 200ft garden and a log cabin equipped with toys, games and learning resources with all ages and abilities in mind. FEEE can be accommodated as part of your payments. We are also signed up to accept the government tax-free payments initiative. If you are interested in finding out more about the setting then a prospectus is available upon request.
  5. Can anybody recommend a reliable handyman to do a quick job for me. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
  6. I replied earlier today but maybe it didn't go through for some reason. I have a space but please be aware that we are only open Monday-Thursday. If that is still of interest then if you let me have your email address, I can send you an information pack and photos of the nursery. Kind regards Caroline

  9. If anybody is looking for a really great electrician who charges very reasonable rates and is prepared to do small as well as large electrical jobs, then Richard Webster is your man. If interested he can be contacted on 02085301309.
  10. If anyone is looking for someone to come and pick up and dispose of items then I can thoroughly recommend James on 07904897508. He's just picked up a couple of items for me and was very pleasant, efficient and charged a competititve rate.
  11. I need someone with a van and a buddy to quote for picking up a treadmill (collapsed down) and taking it to the local tip.
  12. Can anyone recommend a reliable electrician in and aorund the SE22 area.
  13. I have a back lawn and a bust lawnmower. Can anybody recommend someone who could mow my back lawn and sort out the edging with a strimmer. It would be an hour's job in the SE22 0RX area.
  14. I have just finished making up several pieces of children's furniture from flatpacks and the earliest date I can organise for a bulk collection from Southwark is 2+ weeks. Is there anybody out there who would be willing to pick this up and if so how much would you charge?
  15. I have an old computer and need to buy a new one and so require advice on htat. I would then require somebody to download the contents onto a hard drive and re-load onto the new computer. Please only reply if you are a qualified computer technician because I run my business from home and so my files are important.
  16. The fence was damaged during the recent high winds - this isn't a big job but I would require you to supply the necessary materials. Only come back to me if you have previous carpentry experience.
  17. I've got a canon E0S 1300D with an enormous user manual and given I'm a bit technically challenged when it comes to these things are there any camera buffs out there who would enjoy help setting it up for me and giving me a brief tutorial as to the basic workings of said camera. Needless to say I'd pay for your services.
  18. Hi there I've just seen your post and was about to advertise a space at my lovely private nursery which I run out of my Garden flat in a Victorian property on Marmora Road, SE22. The property is protected by 7 ft security gates and a 6 ft wall surrounding the garden area. The nursery is run by experienced and highly qualified staff and between us we have the necessary skills and expertise to ensure that your child receives the best level of care possible. We also understand the importance of providing a safe, nurturing environment during those all important formative years. Working in partnership with parents is fundamental to ensuring continuity of care between the setting and the home environment. We also acknowledge the important role you play as your child?s first and most important educators and will work closely with you in order to support your child?s learning and development so that they can achieve the best possible outcomes during their time with us. There is space for parking and a bus stop is located just 2 minutes walk away which is served by the 63 and 363 bus routes direct to Peckham Rye station and Honor Oak Park Station is also within a short walking distance. If the above sounds of interest to you then I can send you an parent's information pack. References are also available upon request. Kind regards Caroline

  20. Looking for recommendations and a dress maker who can do more thanjust basic alterations.
  21. I brought a plastic children's slide from an address in Peckham (SE15) and need it collected and delivered to me in SE22. Owner has dismantled the slide but it's stil too large for a convntional black cab (but not much) so I don't need a massive delivery van. Anyone out there interested? Probably 30 nminute round trip.
  22. Hi there Thinking about having gel nails done - any recommendations as to who in EDulwich is good? Thanks
  23. Is there anybody out there with experience of dyeing fabrics or bleaching fabrics in this case - happy to pay for your services or advice.
  24. I've got some hareem trousers and I need some extra lines of ruching added to each. Fairly straightforward if you've done ruching before. There will be 5 pairs in all and as I don't have a car if possible would be great if the person could call round to collect them and then drop them back. Want them for a holiday on 15 May - so not a rush job but would need them by then.
  25. I just have to tell you about this awesome photographer who recently did me proud with my passport photo - bit vein of me I know but figured I'm going to looking at 'that' photo for the next 10 years -I was delighted with the resulting image taken. I also had a chance to have a peek at his portfolio and it turns out he's very versatile individual, who sets himself very high standards and has a great work ethic in that no job is too small or too big. So if you want to put your project in the hands of a consummate professional who has bags of patience and is very flexible over timings, where you want your photos done etc. etc. then Martin Lea is his name and if you're interested then check out his website: http://www.martinlea.co.uk
