Mattress disposal

Could anyone recommend/help with the disposal of an old double mattress? The council charges ?25 for 10 items but I only have one and they can't collect until 7 July! Could pay similar. Thanks.

Mattress collection is free from council just leave it out night before they collect from 6-2:30pm

Tenequa- it is not free. Southwark council charge ?25 for bulky item collection, you have to book & pay online.

I?ve sorted it out now - thanks for suggestions. Southwark charge ?25 and booked up until 7 July!

Oh no sorry I?m with lewisham mattress and few others is free just pay for bulky things thought was the same all councils
