shoshntosh

if you've been on this forum a while now you will be aware of "????"'s charms (or otherwise)

I'm not aware of anything locally so you may already be aware of this one

journalism evening course one day a week

in central London?

okay, i'm feeling really guilty all of the sudden, so now i'll have to confess all...

i do not actually care about cricket. although hugh grant -- and imran kahn for that matter -- look quite tasty in those white outfits. i do not really have an interest in journalism.

the truth is that i have two friends who are regular forumites. trouble is, they will not reveal their screen names to me, this despite being able to suss mine on something like my first or second ever posting! i am quite new to the forum and cannot stand the mystery -- well, of course part of me loves it... the detective work, etc. anyway... one of them is taking a journalism course and the other is a HUGE cricket fan so i was hoping to draw them into a trap whereby i could identify them. dear me, will i be kicked off the forum forever for this??

i know i know it was an ill-conceived plan! OF COURSE my two friends are far too smart and cunning for that old game... but let's just call it rioja logic. i'm so sorry to all you kind people (not you, ?????) who replied.

and by the way, if i WAS genuinely interested in those things (as i am in the NTL/Virgin Cable box question), i would feel justified in posting those questions. OF COURSE one could do one's own research (amazon.com, google, etc duh!) but how much easier, nicer, less lonely, to get a recommendation from one of you wise lot.

R & R... if you two are out there reading this... the investigation continues. I WILL FIND YOU!!!!!!!!!!

    • Initially, when all the discussion took place at Bradbury some of existing building was to be demolished which meant that 3 flats would go but these residents would have to wait until new building erected to be housed. No indication has been given as to where people would be placed during building. I am glad that the tree is to remain - Bradbury residents contacted various environmental groups to lobby for tree to remain. I gather that there is likely to be a question of restricted views to be made by Wood Vale residents as 5 stories is significantly higher than current building.
    • South London Youth Theatre will be welcoming back over 100 teenagers and young people aged between 11-18 (including 16-18 year olds) and with a great half/half mix of boys and girls to our Drama and Musical Theatre classes this week.
