We are moving and sadly our pair of superb midcentury walnut wardrobes won't move with us.

Dimensions:

Width

190.0 cm

54.0 cm

It has a strong iconic 1950s design with its walnut finishing, clean lines, angled flared side panels, wooden handle and raised splayed legs.

Alfred Cox was a great designer of post-war British furniture and a now highly collectible cabinet maker. He worked mainly with walnut and teak, designing and producing quality items of superb craftmanship that are much sought after today.

This wardrobe is one of the harder to find original 1950s pieces of bedroom furniture by Alfred Cox.

Many of the Alfred cox furniture were sold through the leading quality department stores Heals, Harrods, Maples & Co etc. This piece was originally sold through Maples & Co.

Condition is "Used" as this is an original piece of furniture manufactured in 1950s. Overall in excellent condition with a lovely wood grain. Some very minimal signs of use as expected for its age.

We have a pair of these wardrobes for sale.
