Hi there, I'm a mobile hairdresser and as of Monday I'll be living in Peckham Rye so I think I'm allowed to post here now! If you wish to come to my house for your hair appointment, the address is 8 Brookstone Court, Peckham Rye, SE15 3UN - but the best thing about being mobile is that I come to you, right??

I offer the following services:

Cut & blowdry ?25

Root tint & blowdry ?30

Full head tint & blowdry ?35

T-section highlights and blowdry ?40

Half head highlights and blowdry ?50

Full head highlights and blowdry ?60

Add cut to any colour service ?10

Add a gent's cut to any appointment for ?15

Add a child's cut to any appointment for ?5 (up to 10 years old) or ?10 (up to 15 years old)

I am happy to travel within zones 1-3, or to train stations in south east London. I am available Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays any time, and Fridays Saturdays and Sundays in the evenings. Advance booking is highly recommended, however wherever possible I will fit you in even if it's a last minute query. New mummies are welcome, and I suggest, even if you don't use me, you get a couple of you together at one location for your hair appointments - free childminding each other's infants while you get your hair done and socialise!

I'm not always able to access my messages on here, so please feel free to email me at [email protected], or call/text on 07599 726814. I'm not always able to answer my phone if I'm with clients, so feel free to leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Lindsay

    • Last week (27 Nov) I was told the only way to book was via ACCURX (sp) website.     I then proceeded to book via patient access (only 2 appts left). Left and right are telling different things Edit to add - can someone describe what happens once you have put a request via ACCURX.   does it wait until a Dr has reviewed your request and how (if at all) do you choose the date.

    • It’s literal.  There are levels of earners. Those who don’t work and get benefits, those who work and get benefits, those who work but don’t get benefits. now, it’s an assumption that the last group are all wealthy, but that’s not the case. People in this last group are most exposed.. private rent, higher tax brackets, cost of living increases, yet they pay the most tax, and get no help.    So many questions: why are workers needing to be subsidised? Should companies pay more? Should there be private rent caps?  Why are people better off not working at all, or only working low hours to ensure they get benefits top ups?  How do you think people respond to this?     Do you realise that a number of companies are focussing on buying property? The banks, the supermarkets! Yet the government is squeezing individuals out of this equation. What do you think this will look like in the future? When foreign companies own the majority of UK property?
    • All depends on what you call reasonably priced!  Was it for Christmas Day?   Noticed that The Plough were advertising Christmas Lunches but did not see any prices listed.
