The results of an independent survey show that the residents of East Dulwich Grove are overwhelmingly against making the temporary road closures and traffic restrictions in Dulwich permanent. Not at all surprising given that the LTNs have displaced traffic and therefore increased pollution on the road. Full results here: https://eastdulwichgrove.com/

Also a reminder that the Council?s consultation on the LTNs closes this Sunday 11th July. Here?s the consultation: https://consultations.southwark.gov.uk/environment-leisure/dulwich-review/

Sure, I get that people are against the closures, and want their voices heard. I don't think it furthers the anti-LTN cause though to keep on opening new threads on the subject.

There's a bit of info in the survey.

Face-to-face surveys with households in on East Dulwich Grove took place during June 2021. An independent external marketing company collected resident feedback for impartiality and confidentiality.

In addition, a card was posted through residents? doors with information on how they could still share their feedback if they were not at home.

Feedback was gathered from the following sources: ➔ Email ➔ Online Questionnaire ➔ Postcard (example to the right) completed in person or dropped off at a local address

From the EDG website https://eastdulwichgrove.com/content/uploads/2021/07/East-Dulwich-Grove__-LTN-Survey-Results-2.pdf page 5:

"Face-to-face surveys with households in on East Dulwich Grove took place during June 2021. An independent external marketing company collected resident feedback for impartiality and confidentiality."

Here?s some further background. An external company, Drew London, were commissioned by the East Dulwich Grove Residents group to independently carry out the survey. Drew London canvassed the 236 households on EDG and gathered responses from 125 of these households. They analysed the data and provided their independent report to the residents group without interference. No residents were involved in the canvassing or creation and publishing of the report.

    • Maybe its a discussion point to get countries to accept their people back, without having to act it out, however if the bluff is called then it might be enacted. Hence the "could" and not the "will " at this stage  Politics is a funny game.

Getting it done now would  undermine Reform's position and give Labour a "win" - even though the Tories had signalled they were going to do this before they got turfed out.

He was here within 2 hours -- ok he was working locally but he didn't have to fit me in .Shows what he's like ,he'll try and get to you asap .And he carries a number of commonly used parts and doesn't have to go off and get them . (You might think that this isn't deserving of comment ,but believe me it is ! ) Great guy ,100% recommend .
