Where can I recycle brita cartridges locally?

Does anyone know of a local shop which takes used cartridges? I contacted Brita and checked online - all I get is outdated info that the local Sainsburys take them.

They can go in your Recycle (Blue) bin as far as I Know.

Sainsbury's Sydenham definitely takes them, or at least did a few weeks ago.

I think it's only been there for a few months. It's quite easy to miss as it's just a cardboard box tucked away in the corner. I only noticed it because I dropped off some batteries, which was right next to the water filter box.

I don't know whether I'm sending mine into the great blue yonder, but I send mine to the following BRITA recycling address as advertised in the instruction manual with the jug when I purchased it:

BRITA Recycling,FREEPOST NAT17876, Bicester,OX26 4BR

Send in packs of 6 at a time (I turn the boxes inside out, tape them up and write with a marker on them - then take them to the local post office to drop off)

Dog kennel Hill sainsbury has a cardboard box near filter jug Isle near dads to recycle them.

Also Sydenham sainsbury and lee green sainsburys its free then brita collect recycle

Thank you everyone for replying. I found the box at my local sainsbury's. When i contacted Brita directly they said there was no freepost address, so I'm grateful Sainsbury's is taking them.
