Mature Creatives to share studio space

Here Instead

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm been running a small graphic design studio from the comfort of my dining room table for the past 5 years and I'm now looking at taking on some studio space in West Dulwich.

The space is great however the rent is more than I can comfortably handle each month. I have this vision of sharing the space with other creatives that may compliment my business (i.e. writers, programmers, designers). I'm looking possibly only for one other person although there's potentially room for 2 more people. I intend to fully furnish the place, setup wireless internet etc. The building itself is clean, secure with a shower, parking and access to a meeting room.

If you're in a similar situation and you'd like to collaborate then I'd love to hear from you. It's important we all gel in terms of work ethics and personalities. I'm 40 year old guy and have 2 kids that go to a local East Dulwich School. I'd ideally want to share the space with someone who has a mature attitude and a good work ethic.

If you're interested then please come back to me asap as I'd like to make an offer on the space within the next couple of weeks.

Cheers,

Martin

    • Thanks penguin  always wondered about that place and that’s way more info than I ever thought I would get  (used to live above a gun nut on friern road - he would tell me nothing)
    • There was a Saturday afternoon crowd of enthusiasts, and at other times the owner might have been off acquiring stock. He also repaired air guns, which he also sold. He stocked edged weapons, uniforms, including antique uniforms, air guns and ammo and starting pistols and shot. Some medals and other militaria. Quite a lot of ex service chit chat on a Saturday. I had an amateur interest, didn't deal a lot, in English pattern swords and other mainly 19th century militaria. And made some good purchases there. I'm afraid WWII and later events was the major focus of most of the regulars.
    • Did anyone actually venture in to that place? I recall it always being closed/very uninviting!
