Seems quite likely there will be some restrictions re-imposed (if not "lockdown"). I imagine schools and shops will stay open, but hospitality will be forced to close again when the deaths go over a couple of hundred daily.

Cummings smirked throughout the interview. Laura Kuenssberg had him on the ropes and brought him back down to reality with a huge bump. He appeared to be a nasty, arrogant, scheming, self righteous, either do what he say's or you're against him, v.poor example of a man. He clearly did not get on with or see eye to eye with BJ's fianc?/wife and wanted everything his own way like a spoiled brat. He was a man in the shadows, and now he's plotting to bring Government down what ever colour and install his own warped sense of politics. Thanks, but NO thanks. UK plc does not require his services.

ROFLMAO!!!!

That's a good one!

Not sure why we're giving either Cummings or Corbyn any attention here *sighs

He has some weird beliefs about his own intelligence versus the average intelligence and who can make decisions.

It's as if he doesn't have any capacity to identify with other people.

Actually - Cummings talks b****ks and then acts out b****ks so he does have a form of integrity.

Boris on the other hand.

I'm A BUT having spent a week commuting to and working in the west end I think 75% of our great British public are C.

Its actually quite disturbing the sheer volume of people who seem to think the Pandemic is over because Boris Lifted the Lockdown.

barely any customers where I work have opted to wear a mask. and obviously social distancing is out the window.

The tubes today contained only about 25% of passengers in my carriage wearing masks both to and from work.

I know of two people who have been double vaccinated who have got Covid.

I have found this week the most stressful scary working week I've had during the whole pandemic.

Its insanity opening up clubs and bars when the majority of clubbers will be of the age group who haven't had the vaccine and the Delta variant is highly contagious and on the rise.

Colleagues at work (who are under 30) ave openly said they've deleted the NHS app because they dont want to get pinged and want to go out/go on holiday.

This is a disaster in the making.

I'd say Jubilee line peak time is 90-95% normal capacity

Overground 70%

Southern at peak time 65-70%

I sincerely hope similar is available still because for many elderly their pet is their main source of comfort and company.
    • In a couple of places locally, I have come across this. I am fairly sure that they attempt to do the bill in their head. If you just say , “no, I think it’s x” they start again and get to an agreeable number, or find a calculator. I don’t think it’s a malicious attempt to swindle people. Just not great arithmetic.
    • There are excellent charities like the Greenwich Wildlife Network who will help if you report any concerns with local wildlife. Foxes are wonderful creatures who had been forced into our town and cities and are just doing their best to survive, we should take care of them when we can.
    • Like I thought… prob like that for most of the day.. especially after people had walked their dogs, with friends, relatives  kids…
