Police have launched an appeal for the public to look out for Abdelali Slimani, 59, who has been missing from his home in Southwark since 5am on Sunday, July 25. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: ?Abdelali suffers from a number of medical issues, and dementia. ?He may be struggling with his communication and mobility and appear to be disoriented or confused.? He is described as 5ft 5in tall, of slim build and balding with some grey hair and grey stubble. It is understood that he may be wearing a blue shirt. Police say they are very concerned for Mr Abdelali's welfare. They are asking that anyone who sees him calls 101, quoting the reference number 21MIS022335.'

  Hello East Dulwichers, Would you know where I can find DJ courses or music production courses for a 14yr old teenager? The teenager can travel independently if required, so going into town if necessary is not a problem. Thank you

  The VAT increase will only make private education more exclusive - many dual-income families who prioritise their children's education over material possessions will either struggle or to move them to state schools thus taking some school places. What a poor decision by this government.
- Charter North Dulwich - material Safeguarding issues at the school? CND hiding key Safeguarding information? parents' experience?

  If there was a safeguarding failure of the magnitude you’re describing then it should have been referred to Ofsted. There may well be an investigation and/or subsequent inspection triggered by this. Schools are required to publicise no-notice inspections on their websites so you may not have long to wait to find out if this is the case.

  I wonder how many private schools close across the UK in an average year...? Is it none... or do one or two close every year, and the difference being that this year those that do cite the VAT change as one of the reasons...?
