Hi everyone

Has anyone had issues getting their Dulwich GP practice to enter details of vaccines, following a vaccine they had in Wales (or Scotland)?

I had my 1st and 2nd vaccines at my Mum's GP practice in Wales as I've been looking after her during lockdown. I have the blue card with the vaccine details on. I asked my GP practice in Dulwich if they can put my vaccine details onto the NHS system so I can get a Covid pass. They wont do this and say "We need this information to come from a central authorization source before we can upload it onto the system". Meanwhile my Mum's GP practice wont send me an email to confirm I've had the vaccines as they say they're too busy.

Has anyone else had a similar experience, after having vaccines in Wales or Scotland?

I have heard of a similar problem regarding a Scots vaccine. There are 4 autonomous NHS units in the UK (England, NI, Wales and Scotland) following devolution and as a matter of principle, so far as I can see, they don't/ won't cooperate. Your best port of call may be Helen Hayes - as it's a national (UK wide) matter. It's clearly ridiculous, the Welsh NHS system will have the details necessary, and they should share them with the English NHS system.
I would try asking at the data input end. I guess phoning 0300 303 5667 at https://gov.wales/digital-nhs-covid-pass-available-wales-urgent-travel might be able to help shed some light on the current data propagation processes and how best to deal with the problem.

Thank you ianr, I phoned 0300 303 5667 and they're mailing a paper certificate to me. But won't be able to get an electronic certificate, as "the Welsh system and the English system are not speaking to each other". Until this issue is sorted, I won't be able to travel ...... aaarrrggghhhh ......

    • Anyone upgraded their TV for Christmas?! I'm looking for a smallish Smart TV I can use with earbuds. Not more than 56cm high and  25cm deep. A 26" one used to fit.  Thanks!
    • It wasn't an antique and bric-a-bac shop but an antique market with a number of different traders, the cafe supported all the dealers in bringing in custom, and was good enough to generate trade for them. It was Rodney Franklin's and his partners enterprise, he previously had an antique shop in Queenstown Road in Battersea. His late wife ran the cafe (she was a very fine actress, it was a 'resting' job).  It was on the corner of a junction on the left as you head towards Camberwell. And almost opposite, if memory serves at all, an MFI style furniture outlet.
    • i used to go there in the late 80's and '90s (?) the food was served cafeteria style and there was limited choice, but what there was alays tasted amazing!  The garden was an absolute paradise, you could sit in it to lunch in the summer!  i've tried to locate its site but Walworth Road has changed so much since then - does anyone remember the house number?
