Don Simpson mobile car mechanic is now fully retired

The very excellent mechanic Don Simpson has asked me to post on here to let people know that he has now permanently retired.

He had been in semi-retirement and was continuing to help existing clients, but sadly a couple of weeks back his van and tools were stolen despite all his precautions (the *******s put the van on a recovery truck and just drove off with it) and he just doesn't have the heart to replace it all :(

The police said they couldn't help unless he knew who it was or had CCTV of the theft :(

Anybody who knew Don I'm sure would agree with me that you couldn't find a nicer, more competent, more honest or more helpful person. He kept my ancient Micra on the road for many many years, but sadly now it has to leave London as it isn't ULEZ compliant.

Thanks for letting us know Sue. So sad for Don to have his van stolen - he must be devastated - quite understand that he doesn't have the heart to replace it and his tools.

He is the nicest man and so hardworking and kept my old Mazda on the road for many years.
