Memorial bench Peckham Rye

A group of us want to remember a dear departed friend who we all met because of his Rye activities, any idea who to contact or what the first port of call is?

Has anyone here done this before?

It appears there is a policy to prevent this

Bench Locations

At present we do not allow customers to specify any new locations for benches in Southwark.

We will allow a commemorative bench to replace an existing bench where benches are

reaching the end of their useful life

I would contact a councillor as I am sure there are places in the park that warrant an additional bench. And/or Friends of Peckham Rye park. http://www.peckhamryepark.org/friends-of-peckham-rye-park
