Annoying words that have cropped up in our language

But some words quickly become part of our lexicon, I remember stakeholder which I first heard used extensively by the new Blair government. At the time I thought that it meant vampire hunters.

Mispronunciation of certain words is infuriating. The word "innovative" is now often replaced by "innivative" even on TV ads by major companies.

I've nothing against Christmas but it really isn't the be all and end all of life as we know it. That honour is reserved for the current Tory administration.

Staycation suddenly means holidaying in the UK. I'm sure it used to mean holidaying whilst staying (sleeping) at home. Word has lost it's interesting meaning and is now just annoying.
