Hope it's not an unprecedented crisis crisis, otherwise I'll be like so reaching out. With sprinkles.

OK I'll bite.

Why should women have to identify their marital status by their title (Miss/Mrs) when men don't (Mr)?

I would genuinely appreciate an answer.

Sue (Ms).

It's very confusing for us blokes Sue.

Years ago I worked with a married lady who wanted to be called Miss as she wasn't a "man's appendage" so Mrs upset her.

However getting rid of Miss will ruin the opening lines of the Dead Parrot Sketch

"Excuse me Miss"

Gruff voice "what do you mean Miss?"

"I'm sorry, I have a cold"

So which is annoying you most: Mrs, Ms, Miss or Mr?

    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
