Botox Bookclub!

I just had to write about something I did last week which has made me feel a million dollars! I'm a tired, forty-something women coming out of lockdown and feeling rubbish. A friend of mine suggested over drinks we should organise someone to come round and give us all some botox next time we have Book Club.... and that is exactly what we managed to do! There were six of us, numbed by alcohol and a lovely Spanish lady who is not only a GP but a specialist in dermatology set up shop in my bathroom and we took turns to have the jabs. Took less than 20 minutes each. None of the husbands are any the wiser but funnily enough each of them have remarked we were looking good! Its such a great idea and we've booked in again for just before Christmas. I told the lovely GP I'd recommend her as she's so good.
