I've just moved to a lovely SW facing 96 foot garden. It's in quite good condition but there are some large shrubs that need attention and inspiration required for planting scheme/maintenance/lawn. Regular help required.

Knowledgeable gardener required for regular work.

I would be very happy to come & take a look at your new garden to give some advice & thoughts about your garden & plants . I have been in the area for 20 years designing & building beautiful gardens & have gained considerable knowledge over this time . I have some time this weekend to come & take a look & start a program of maintenance. Please give me a call & we will arrange a time . I work with my son Oli Hawkins & a great team who will carry out the maintenance & any other issues that need dealing with

Kiran is a great gardener and a lovely guy. Fantastic for planting and design inspiration. I?m really pleased with his work in my garden this past summer and he?ll be back soon to plant up the Spring Bulbs I?ve ordered through him.

    • Yes it would be easier, and I give a lot to the hospice shops, but for various reasons there are certain things I prefer to give to Oxfam. However I might go through the books and see if some could be donated more locally.
    • The other side of P13 drivers being risk averse is that I  have been on P13s at night that speeded (?sped?) down Underhill Road so fast I seriously thought they might crash.
    • Some P13 drivers appear very risk averse. I live in Underhill and on that road drivers are forced to back away, often considerable distances, from buses to allow them to pass, even when the bus has an immediate space it could back into. The driver at the time said that buses 'weren't allowed to back'. So reports of cars 'blocking' P13s might mean simply that the car was legally parked but the road too narrow,or the bus driver not prepared to risk advancing. NB some P13 drivers are both skilled and courteous, but not all.
    • I’ve experienced the same in Herne Hill. It’s definitely linked to where there are already marked bays, it prevents you from parking within approx 200-400 metres around the bay. Dulwich Village has quite a few bays, which probably explains why you’ve noticed it there and not elsewhere.
