Southwark Recycling centre permit - postcode not working

Hi, has anyone managed to book a permit to use the Devon St Recycling Centre off the Old Kent Road?

I cannot get it to accept our Southwark postcode (then tried random ones, none work). Has anyone managed to get one? I called but of course no one there on a weekend. Assuming the search bit is broken as then clicked to report our postcode not working and that bit won't find us either! Thanks!

I tried to book waste collection on the Southwark website earlier and it didn?t recognise my postcode either, so possibly a general problem with the site.

It was working earlier in the week as I booked in for Wednesday no bother at all, so sounds like a problem with the site.

Hope it gets sorted soon.

I spotted a glitch that has caused us to book the wrong date on a number of occasions.

The site automatically selects the first day with available slots (I think). Last week when I was booking it selected Thursday when I was booking on Tuesday. I then clicked Wednesday and luckily noticed that the date was set to Wednesday the following week. So beware, double-check the booking date.
