Is there a Covid pass for travel for vaccinated under 16's

Hi

How does a child show their vaccination status for travel?? Slightly anxious as we're flying on Thursday morning!!

My daughter has been vaccinated. At the vaccination centre at St Thomas they told us we could get a covid pass on the NHS app but it won't issue one for her because of her age.

NO idea what to do and getting worried!! Anyone managed to leave the country with their vaccinated child?

It would only be possible if they are double vaccinated and currently under 16s aren't generally being double vaccinated. They are in the rest of Europe and the USA.

i've got a letter from the GP with details of pfizer vaccination - hoping that will be OK!

Hi Ninbi, unless your child is double vaccinated they are not considered vaccinated by many countries. I would check the Government information for where you are going. I would check fast as you may need to do a PCR test for your child before you go. I think you would be OK to enter France but not eg Germany. Many EU countries and the US have been double vaccinating their 12-16 year olds for several months now and so that's what is expected for those coming in from elsewhere.
