Hi,

In the last couple of months we?ve had wheels damaged. Today we woke up to a screw in the side of the wheel requiring a new replacement. It would be a funny place for this to have occurred in the normal course of driving / parking and the mechanic fixing suggested it might be deliberate.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks!

Our rear near side tyre was slashed about six years ago on upland road. The chap at Melbourne grove tyre place said he had seen a spate of them. Car at the time was a non descript 15 year old Ford parked in the same spot it usually was, not blocking anyone in. unlikely to have been a close neighbour!I think there was a thread on here at the time but can?t find it?

    • Not in my bit. It's also people in vans. Though on occasion it is the PO, but not exclusively. It may be based on the size of parcel, or the number. Or possibly whether you're a Prime Customer.
    • Many of the goods available on Amazon aren't dispatched from an Amazon facility but direct from the supplier who use their own couriers which can include the post office. This is indicated in the item's information by the 'fulfilled by' information.  Amazon themselves are certainly still delivering in Dulwich. Don't want to jinx it but I'm finding RM tracked deliveries very reliable. Even DPD messed up one of my deliveries this week but all now resolved.
    • the Post office seems to be the outfit responsible for delivering stuff ordered on Amazon in the Dulwich area Is anyone finding that their parcel delivery has become more unreliable than in the past e.g. not delivered because 'you were not in' or 'returned to sender as address incorrect'?
    • We had such a problem with theft, with couriers denying responsibility and ignoring instructions not to leave things on the doorstep, that we installed a parcel safe.  It works well if people use it, but I am puzzled by the couriers that send me a photo of the packages they leave propped up against the side of the parcel safe.
