WW2 - Honor Oak School evacuation - memories desired!

Hi all,

If you know of anyone who attended Honor Oak (Girls') School during WW2 (Harris Girls' Academy East Dulwich is now on site there) and was evacuated, I would be very interested to know, or anyone who attended the South London Emergency School (which used the premises after the above school was evacuated), I would be grateful.

I am Head of History at HGAED and would love our pupils to have some local History!

Please feel free to email [email protected]

Thank you!

    • If you type in the amount of time you intend to stay on the app, it will charge you for that time
    • Or return it to a restaurant pub or even better would be a Superb site and Location for our very own, yes, you guessed it, smack in between Forest Hill and East Dulwich and North Dulwich and West Dulwich and Herne Hill and Tulse Hill, yes our very , very own, no not a diy store but you guessed it, I'm sure you all want a brand spanking shinny new Lidl. I know the idea may upset a minority but the just consider all the benefits it will bring and the majority would be ecstatic to have a low budget supermarket in our locality.
    • Just been for the first time and definitely recommend.  Great value, lovely atmosphere & far preferred their pizzas to some others on the lane.  Give it a go!
