Hi,

I just wondered if anyone could advise me on buying a microwave steriliser. I had a work top tommee tippee one with my first, but had to get rid of it so thought as cheaper and you can hide them away I would plug for a microwave one. However, as we are getting a new fitted microwave which apparently comes in standard dimensions of 26cms depth and 19cms width the one I was going to get won't fit. Are there any good ones that do fit? I wanted to use Tommee Tipee bottles. Thanks.

Don't know about dimensions, you will probably have to measure them yourself to be absolutely sure, but I used an avent microwave steriliser second time around after using their big electric monster the first time. Microwave system was much easier and also much easier to clean. Also you can store it in microwave when not in use so not extra work surface clutter.

Imagine any decent microwave manufacturer would be aware they likely to be used for sterilising and so various systems should fit inside.

    • Now I have heard everything…..not send your kid to a school because you don’t like the name - so to get my head around this, if school is outstanding, parents won’t send their child there because of name of school? Or have I not understood?
    • A quick Google says that it is not undersubscribed unlike many subject schools so those claims mentioned above may not be true. Last Ofsted was good.  You are definitely right about the money. This is what trusts do. Remove word ‘subject’ above Remove word ‘subject’ above I can’t edit my ridiculous errors but would like to apologise  for messy post
    • I have heard claims that people don't send their children there because of the name of the school..?  I genuinely cannot get my head around this one. The school is named after the road it is on which is named after the history of the area!  'Grove Primary School' is potentially the most boring name they could have come up with, and for a school struggling financially, is rebranding the school really the best use of funds?
    • Certainly unique, can't argue with that.
