Hi Kate - I used Gasify for my annual service/check.

Guy called Patrik. Very nice, friendly guy. Seemed professional.

Can book online, which makes it very easy:

https://www.gasify.co.uk/bookings-checkout/boiler-service/book

Patrik has his own one-man company, Gasify London Ltd, set up in March this year, with an SE22 address. He also has a website, https://www.gasify.co.uk, which gives an SW2 address under the words Gasify Patrik Toth, but I've not found any reference to the company name, address and number, which I believe are required on any company website. I surmise that the website predates the company formation. The domain itself was created in April 2020.

I've found his Gas Safe record by entering his name Patrik Toth on the register website's Find By Business Name page https://www.gassaferegister.co.uk/find-an-engineer/find-by-name/, and that, like Companies House, has him in SE22. I'm not sure, fwiw, which isn't much, whether he's working as a sole trader or a company.

    • They used to have dedicated park wardens, who I'm sure used to look after the parks and locked and opened the gates. Years ago I knew someone who was one. I thought they were based in that hut by the toilets. Are they not there any more? The community wardens are attached to the police rather than a specific park, aren't they?
    • Yes, sad how Rye Lane has taken a dive, interesting to see those pics CPR Dave. It's shocking how the section between Choumert Road and the Nag's Head in particular has lost its vibrancy, meanwhile the next section to the top of Peckham Rye Common has gentrified. Wonder why such a distinction in fortunes? Anyway the station square plans have fallen behind yet again, demolition won't now start this summer. The only "work" that will now take place this summer is surveying of the arcade, which they've had 10 years since planning permission to do. At least the replacement TSB branch has progressed but the Blenheim Grove corner building still looks unfinished, despite claims it "is now complete". https://www.southwark.gov.uk/planning-environment-and-building-control/current-and-future-development/peckham-and-nunhead-2
    • DKH was two form entry, it is now one form entry to cope with the fact it was far more under subscribed than other schools in the area. They had actually combined year groups into single classes, 3/4 and 5/6.  When a school changes name, it’s usually because of a bad reputation perhaps the results.  The new name is dry with no history unlike its current name. It’s a very sketchy decision. It’s an expensive vanity project for someone.  What  will happen if the name change does not increase applications to the school?
