Annoyed nurseries and waiting lists!

Sol- ideally that's the plan. I'm number 100 on the waiting list LOL! So probably no chance for at least a year. Nabz you csn only put name down on the waiting list on their open day!

Keep chasing Uzma, you never know. It does seem to be more difficult for under 2 as there are not that many children in the baby room

oh gosh really! anyone know what day is their next open day? My daughter just turned 1 but I really want a place for her when she turns 2 or 3 x

Sol I spoke to the admin lady who told me to forget about it until next year!

I'm really happy with mother goose though too so it's fine!

Nabz you need to call them they will tell you when the next open day is!

Just rang them they said they will call me back and said waiting list is 18months x

No personal experience of the Gumboots but keep pestering if that's where your heart is.

I think waiting lists are artificially long - despite contacting Bright Horizons (in Sainsbury's car park) to be removed from the waiting list as soon as I got a place elsewhere for my daughter (back in autumn/winter 2011), I still get a call every 6 months or so asking if I would like a place there and each time I tell them that I no longer need it and to remove us from the waiting list....the most recent call from them was a couple of days ago, almost 18 months after the initial request to be removed from the waiting list!

I think gumboots is seriously good on their admin side ! Bright horizons is ridiculous I've called and visited o many times the management changed again !!
