Anybody used headbandz following grommets?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone used one of these for swimming following grommets? My daughter had her grommets inserted about 4 months ago and up until now has refused to entertain having one in order to go swimming, but now she has changed her mind as she wants to go swimming with her class. Does anyone have one they no longer need they would be willing to sell or alternatively does anyone know where I can buy one in ED or surrounding areas?

I need it by next Tuesday so cannot order it online...

Hoping the forum can come to the rescue!!

Pls pm or reply to thread if you have any info - thank you

Never tried headbandz but there are various other ear plugs that you can put in under a swim hat. Maybe the swimming pool would have some. I have also been recommended cotton wool wiped in vaseline and used as an ear plug under a hat.

I have the adult equivalent of grommets, and I have to say i don't use anything at all, but then I don't often go under water. There is a risk of infection, but I have never had any problems.

    • I have no doubt that local people are genuinely involved (and personally can understand their not wanting to publicise their involvement). That said the proliferation of One groups across London and the degree of co-ordination suggests it is more than just a local grassroots group. I’m not really that interested, except that many of their supporters do bang on about transparency and accountability. I would be interested in the substance of their latest missive. Who has been pressurising the emergency services and how? Who genuinely believes that people are partially covering their plates and driving through due to inadequate signage? Sounds a little ridiculous / desperate. It feels like it may be time for them to start coming to terms with the changes tbh.
