This is true Sue - only in the last few years has the full impact really been clear.

It is however very clear - even new burners are harming you, your family and your neighbours.

Lots of Grand Designs eco-houses seemed to have been heated by a single log-burner.....Property & lifestyle content often (falsely) depicts them as being modern and environmentally friendly.

This is true - but also a lot of the ones that are are passivhaus and off grid.

In cities they are disastrous for our air quality.

There is no such thing as an eco friendly way of burning solid fuels.
