Is that anything to do with this or am I confusing my threads? The furry scene is popular with shy people, my friend tells me, but I'm not sure it has much of a presence in ED. Not as yet, anyhow.

Uha uha uha..take it easy!there is nothing "pervy" in try to be nice

I just had a walk around on my first week end off in 18 months! It was a nice afternoon with nice light and good vibes by the local market and pubs...I saw lots of nice girls ( and i already said also nice guys) and generally speaking cool people and....I "said it"..

Like if for instance you travel 2 weeks in Colombia or Sweden or wherever and You said : " Girls are very beautiful in Sweden.." ! There is nothing pervy in this it s a bout sharing feelings and communicating;..judging is would be more pervy..

Just meant to be nice...

    • That explanation sounds highly unlikely!  Surely the "days of the week" plates must be a standard size. I know Royal Mail often appears incompetent, but it  couldn't be that stupid, surely. Was it 1 April?!
    • Looking for a short length of electric (twin & earth)  lighting cable. Most likely there could be some in a skip near you??
    • Southwark's recycling guidance says to put shredded paper in the blue bin in a paper envelope or "small box". I've got far too much of it for that  (confidential stuff going back decades) - thanks to the EDF member who kindly gave me a shredder! It would be a "massive box". I have barely started  the shredding, and I've already got an extremely large bagful.   I've read online that you can put it into  large clear plastic bags in the bin for paper,  provided you  clearly label it "shredded paper" and it is obvious what it is. Does anybody know if Southwark would accept it like that? Alternatively, can anyone make use of it for animal bedding or packaging material or adding to  compost?
    • I'm happy to report that some foxgloves are now looking great in my garden. The bees are loving them. Also managed to grow some corn poppies from seed. I've left some decaying logs in the corner so maybe there are some stag beetles there.
