East Dulwich has a community e-cargo bike for hire! It's outside Karavan Eco, Lordship Lane.

Looking forward to giving it a try. The first two hours are free thanks to Southwark Council, then ?5 per hour.

Interesting to see the same company does ?Try Before You Buy? rental bike schemes (subsidised by Southwark council), with cargo bikes, kids bikes and electric bikes.

The training session is really great and the hire price is very reasonable.

The two hours free is really helpful - lots of times I think that would be enough for picking something up. Does anyone know how long the training takes please?

Its a 2 hour session but mine took about 1 hour 40.was fun. No one had booked it after so i could have kept it longer. V small hourly charge after the initial 2 free hours.
