why do the beans from the greasy spoon always taste better than mines?

what do they do differently ?

Suppose it's the same as I can never get a peanut butter sarnie to taste the same as when me mum makes it...

Next time you buy beans get a catering size from a cash and carry they taste differently.

My mum never peanut buttered toasties for me.

But she once microwaved a couple of sardines for my lunch

Azul - you've got to try this one - esp good with baked beans or *whispers* Birds Eye Potato Waffles (they're waffley versatile, apparently)

I was going to add this myself! I must concur this is v yummy - also it is good to add some coriander. (here is a top tip courstesy of "Cooking like Mummyji" - when you buy fresh coriander, wash it and chop it up and put in freezer - it still works fine).
