Flatshare in an amazing 2 bed penthouse

Wanted- An amazing housemate to share a penthouse flat with in Dulwich.

I?ve just taken on the lease and I?ll be the ?custodian? of the flat for the landlords who are moving abroad. Would you like to join me?

Located high up in SE22, this top floor flat in a Georgian period house has double height ceilings, a massive lounge, open plan kitchen, loft studio and a huge roof terrace with BBQ all to share. Oddly enough, the photos don?t do the place justice! The room available is much bigger and brighter than the photos too...

I?m looking for someone who?s considerate, is happy to share the housework, sociable and friendly, who likes having a laugh, who wants to watch trash tv and documentaries alike as well as have BBQs on the roof. Basically it would be great if we get along and be mates.

I?m not really interested in sharing with a couple.

About me- I?m 41, I work full time in a museum and I?m passionate about music (I produce and host a radio show and collect records), spirituality, laughs, adventures/exploring, mid century design, cooking and a few beers or drinks on the weekend. Im also known to go to the odd gig or party randomly...but don?t bring the party home.

Im a laid back person and respectful of peoples need for space as well.

The entire flat is ?2200 per month meaning each room is ?1100 a month plus bills. There will be a deposit of ?1100 to pay the landlords who will use a certified deposit scheme for us.

The flat comes furnished but will not include a bed.

There is a lot of storage, underfloor heating, massive fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer, dishwasher, tv projector, shower and bath, and the upstairs office area for those who might want to work from home. Even if you are distracted by the view!

Transport links are really good with Forest Hill, West Dulwich, North Dulwich all around a 20 min walk away. The location means it straddles both zone 2 and zone 3. Buses service the area regularly to all of the above as well as Lordship Lane, Rye Lane and Nunhead high st (but all are still walkable).

There is a massive Sainsbury?s at Forest Hill, another huge one in East Dulwich as well as plenty of others like M&S/Co-Op within east reach. Peckham Rye is a 10 min walk as is Dulwich Woods.

The move in date is end of April.

I?m struggling to upload photos here sadly but there?s a link to my ad on Spareroom where you can see the listing and all of the photos. https://www.spareroom.co.uk/16140166

If you?re genuinely interested it would be great if you could message me and let me know a bit about yourself. I?m happy to chat on the phone and organise a viewing too.

I?ll be conducting viewings w/c 28.3.

I hope to hear from you soon!

Nick

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
